Psychological Dream Meaning: In order to float we have to relax and accept the support of the water. In psychological terms, this means that you have accepted the feminine side of your psyche and are carried forward by it. Floating implies acceptance, you have let go of your problems, worries and restrictions and can now enjoy just being yourself. Go with the flow.
Mystical Interpretation: To dream of floating means tremendous success will come your way but if you struggle to stay afloat there will be delay. Top
Psychological Dream Meaning: Water symbolises the emotional side of the unconscious. To dream of a flood or being swept away by water, indicates that you feel emotionally overwhelmed. These dreams also hint at baptism and rebirth. The fertile, nourishing effect of floodwater may be implied. This dream could therefore represent the start of a new phase of life and renewed personal growth.
Mystical Interpretation: The story of Noah, the Epic of Gilgamesh and other myths about floods represent a purging that prepares the way for something better. Everything in your life has been swept away so that you may start anew. Top

Psychological Dream Meaning: A flower is a symbol of the true spiritual self. Its symmetry and perfection shows how beautiful we really are.
Mystical Interpretation: At first the Buddha felt that enlightenment was impossible to convey to the world. Then he saw a pond of lotus flowers at different stages of unfoldment. He understood that all people are at different stages of spiritual development. Like the flowers, some remain in the mud of desire but others raise themselves and gradually open to the light. Inspired by what he saw, the Buddha began his mission. Top
I dreamed that I could fly in the air, rose above the town below, and high into the night sky. It felt wonderful. I had no fear and could float gently down to earth whenever I wanted. Charles N- New York
Psychological Dream Meaning: To dream of flying is usually a pleasant experience and is accompanied by a sense of exhilaration and freedom. It usually feels completely natural as if we have somehow always known how to do this. Rarely is the dream accompanied by a fear of heights or of falling. Flying may symbolise liberation from something that’s been troubling you. The obstructions and shackles that have held you down have been released and you can now experience the same sense of freedom that we see in the birds that soar in the sky. The sky may symbolise consciousness and spirituality so to dream of flying can represent the expansion of your awareness and the unfolding of your higher self. (Freud of course took a more materialistic view: to him flying dreams represented sexual release.)
Nevertheless, flying also has its perils. The ancient Greek myth of Icarus warns us not to fly too high. Your dream may show that you are being over ambitious.
What is it I am being released from? Think about the things that have been troubling you of late. Perhaps the difficulty or emotional problem that has grounded you for so long is not as bad as you thought. Sometimes it is important to tread the paths of life lightly. Let the freedom, gentleness and carefree feeling of the dream be expressed in your behaviour.
Do I feel anxiety or fear? You may thrill at the feeling of risk that your dream gives you. If so, you may want to take more risks in your life with, for example, your work or a relationship. If you feel trepidation and alarm you may be over-reaching yourself and need to get a firmer footing in your life. Your dreams and ambitions may be too grandiose and not in accord with what you can realistically expect to achieve.
Mystical Interpretation: In ancient times, a person who dreamed of flying was considered to have entered the realm of the immortal gods. The Native Americans, the Babylonians, the Hindus, the Tibetan Buddhists and many other traditions claim that we all have a light body that can leave the physical body during sleep. The light body can travel great distances and even into other dimensions that mystics call the astral planes. Here we can talk to our friends who also travel the dimensions, communicate with the people of the spirit world, or learn from the advanced souls the men once called gods and angels. Many scientists believe that there is empirical proof that out of body travel is possible. Top
Psychological Dream Meaning: You are not seeing things as they really are. You may be disorientated in waking life and have lost your sense of direction. It is time to finish with this foggy thinking. Be clear about what you want and what direction you want your life to take. Deliberate decisiveness will improve your inner clarity.
Mystical Interpretation: If the fog is thick, this is a very bad omen say the dream oracles, but if you dream of it clearing you will have great success. Top

Psychological Dream Meaning: Food represents the qualities we take into ourselves and for Sigmund Freud it symbolised sexuality. (see Eating) The different types of food you dream about can symbolise a variety of things: Fruit can symbolise sensuality but it can also represent the receiving of rewards or abundance. To dream of bitter fruits such as lemons may indicate that you feel bitterness about a situation or person influencing your life. Perhaps it’s you that has the sour attitude? Milk can symbolise human kindness, sugar sweet words and frozen food may indicate that you have frozen emotions. There are thousands of possible qualities symbolised by food. You will need to examine what your personal associations are with the food featured in your dream. For example, Freud considered that chocolate or any luxurious food represented self-reward. Do you get a feeling of guilt when you look at a fattening cream cake and could it therefore represent guilt in your dreams.
Mystical Interpretation: Since the times of the Ancient Greeks to dream of food was interpreted in sexual terms. Peaches and other succulent fruits stood for lasciviousness, while others such as pomegranates symbolised fertility. It was an apple the caused Adam and Eve to be booted out of Eden. Food such as bread symbolised a more restrained, fertility-orientated sexuality and many primitive cultures believe that if you eat meat you will take on the spiritual qualities of that particular animal. Psychological Dream Meaning: Don’t take this one too literally. The person being buried may represent an aspect of yourself that you are trying to repress. Is there something that you want removed from your life? Perhaps you have feelings, desires or thoughts that scare you. You may be worrying too much about your health or perhaps you want to bury the past. The only constant in life is change. The past is dead and buried so now embrace the present and look forward to the future.
Who is being buried? Do you feel resentment towards this person or do they symbolise something happening in your life or something about yourself? If it is you that is being buried in the dream then you may have a fear about being overwhelmed by your emotional troubles or unconscious forces. First, you must to get in touch with these hidden feelings and find out what they are. What has happened recently or a long ago to give rise to these emotions? Don’t keep burring them. Start by examining them, then accept them, and finally start to control them. The problems you try to bury are probably not as bad as you think.
Mystical Interpretation: Occasionally dreams of funerals do foretell the future. For example, Abraham Lincoln dreamed of his own death just days before he was assassinated. He saw his own shrouded corpse laid in state in a room of the White House. However, in the vast majority of cases dreams of funerals are a metaphor for your own state of mind. Top

It is important that you discover why you feel so frustrated so that you can deal more effectively with its causes.
Mystical Interpretation: Dream superstition takes frustrations to mean the opposite- all your plans will succeed.
Psychological Dream Meaning: To dream of being in the future may represent the way you hope or fear things will turn out. Your dream may be saying “If you carry on behaving the way you are this is the situation you’re likely to find yourself in.” However, your dream may not necessarily be a premonition of actual events to come.
Mystical Interpretation: J. W. Dunne in his famous book An Experiment with Time proposed that dreams can tell of future events and cited many examples from his dream diaries. However, it is wise not to take these dreams too literally as the unconscious can distort the information it receives. For example, Dunne dreamed of being killed by a bull. In the next few days he was chased by a bull but certainly not killed. Top
